How do I begin?
Ask your doctor for a home health referral or call the Agency (802-888-4651) to review your needs with an experienced nurse. Insurance companies mandate certain conditions for home health eligibility.

Who might come to my home?
Planning with your doctor and you, it might be a nurse, a physical, occupational or speech therapist, and a home health aide. A social work visit may also be part of your care plan.

Who pays for this?
Medicare (100%, no co-pay), Medicaid, other insurances such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and MVP. If you have no insurance, a sliding fee scale is used to determine your payment. Sometimes care is free.
